It if you have noticed the crickets around here over the last few weeks then you know why I need to apply this plan to my business.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div>
I am definitely guilty of putting things off until I do something else. For example, I tell myself constantly that I will do more posts when I switch platforms. I'll make more tutorials, I will create a following, and I will better my content when I switch platforms and do one last rebrand. </div>
<div>
The thing about waiting is that it is wasting beautiful time. The time and work that goes into rebranding and moving everything is not a small amount of time, and this is something I am planning to do during my spare time between clients. So it could be a few months from now. There is no way that I want the crickets to last that long.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
So it is time to learn to live in the now! I need to do a little cleaning with my old posts/tutorials, and I need to work on creating quality content that my past and future clients will find beneficial. If I am completely honest with you, this is new territory for me. I have always put time and effort into the posts that go onto my personal blog, but I haven't ever done very good at focusing on this blog. Have posts, but I never put to much work into them, and I wouldn't necessarily say that people would benefit from reading each and every one of them.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
So as I work on growing/bettering my business, this is something that I have to learn to focus on. If you have any questions, or know of anything that you would like to see me post about, make sure you email me your questions! </div>

I have tried to kind of put the word out locally now that I am doing printed goods such as custom business cards, invitations, announcements, etc... But that hasn't ever really gone very far. A couple of days ago our favorite librarian at the Library that we take Sydney to sent me a message asking me if I did Bridal Shower invitations!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I believe my response was a big"ABSOLUTELY!!!". So I had her fill out a form to give me a general idea of what she was wanting, and to tell me a little bit about this shower that the initations were for. The brides colors verbvarious shades of purple, but she wasn't an overly girly person in reality. So we wanted something classic, simple, and sweet. </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tCyT_GbCqh0/VMLF5O7r5uI/AAAAAAAAQ74/gstpM_ghGPs/s1600/Front.jpg" height="400" width="288" /><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-bnLJfcYMqPM/VMLF7GbxmoI/AAAAAAAAQ8A/GEThKCrmqXU/s1600/Back.jpg" height="400" width="288" /></div>
</div>
<div>
I love how these turned out! I came up with a rough idea and ran it by my client. Then we happened to have story time for Sydney, and I had a couple of questions and details that needed to be figured out. So I loaded the images that I needed onto my iPad and took it with me. Once the kids had been read to, and everyone was playing, we figured out the last few details over the iPad. She was able to see the details clearly, and I could visually see her reaction! It was a beautiful thing! It really makes me want to do more consultations with local clients like this! So I am making it a goal to have more of a local clientele with my printed goods once our move is over. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now the invitations have been ordered and the delivery was so fast! I still really just love being able to sell something that people get to hold in their hands.</div>

I have a personal blog as well, and naming this blog was a process that took time and a few different names. Lately I have had a bunch of people ask me for advice on how to name a blog.<br />
<div>
<br />
<div>
So this is me, sharing my advice with you!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JWwG7y-tB5g/VMLFM22JV4I/AAAAAAAAQ7w/tCgY_trdlv0/s1600/Name-Your-Blog.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JWwG7y-tB5g/VMLFM22JV4I/AAAAAAAAQ7w/tCgY_trdlv0/s1600/Name-Your-Blog.png" height="320" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
Personally, I believe that the most important things about a blog are the name, the design, and the content. In that order! A name draws you to look, and then if the design is visually attractive you tend to look around. If you have stuck around long enough to read the content, and you like it, then that is what keeps you coming back! So you want to come up with a good name! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But where do you begin right?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My response to this is to just sit down and write down words that you think describe you! If you have a nickname that is sentimental, or unique to you, then please use it! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My next bit of advice is to try to make it a name that you will not grow out of! I have gone through three different blog names to finally learn this! For example, before my blog was SimplyTiki it was The Momma Bear Diaries. While there was a sentimental reason behind the name, it was a name that was kind of limiting in terms of content. Yes, I will always be Momma Bear, but I reached a point where I wanted to post more than just "mom blog" posts. I outgrew my blog name. So try not to give your blog a name that just describes one form of content! You can detail the type of blog your doing in the tagline. It doesn't really have to be in the title.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My last bit of advice is just to have fun with it! While your thinking of a name that works for you, and is not limiting, have fun with it! Write a ton of ideas down and see if one sticks out to you! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So now you hopefully have a name for your site! Your next step is to create your free blogger account using that name and then go about purchasing your domain. There are so many different options to purchase your do,aim from. You can purchase through your blog or through the thousands of hosts out there. GoDaddy is my go to for domains. It's so easy to purchase and then you can call them and have them help you point your domain to your blog. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
At this point you have successfully named your blog! Now you need to start thinking of design! </div>

We both do this with our husbands daily, but to do it with each other face to face was just such a great idea!</span></span></div>

<li><span style="font-family: inherit;">Social Media - we discussed the importance of each platform to our business. I have discovered that I have desperately got to get better at all forms of social media for this little site of mine. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: inherit;">Google Analytics - getting advice on using it! I have to admit it's all confusing to me.</span></li>

<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); font-family: inherit;">This first weekend in January we had our very first creative meeting, and I had a blast! This whole meeting is to get the other persons perspective. Any and all input is wanted! </span></div>

By the end of the meeting I walked away with new ideas, and new insights on what I should be doing! </span><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Now I am already looking forward to next months meeting! Sometimes it is so great to have the opportunity to work with other business owners and get their input! Erin is a genius for coming up with the idea if you ask me!</span></span></div>
<div id="yui_3_10_1_1_1421902019310_1019" style="margin-bottom: 0px; min-height: 28px;">

<div id="yui_3_10_1_1_1421902019310_1019" style="margin-bottom: 0px; min-height: 28px;">
<span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); font-family: inherit;">If you are a business owner and have someone that you can do something like this with, then I highly recommend it! I walked away from this meeting feeling rejuvenated and ready to kick it into gear! </span></div>

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working on the invites and Thank you cards for his second birthday! First we had to come up with some sort of a theme for the party. She was is having at one of those paint your own pottery kind of places, so I thought it could be as simple as just using paint! I played around with it for a little while and, once we found a brush that we loved for the corner, everything kind of just fell into place.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ojG0b5X2dE8/VInKwY5-yDI/AAAAAAAAQhc/-XgQQ_CsyJM/s1600/Sloan's-Party-front.png" height="640" width="328" /><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KmC44txWw7E/VInKwaoZh6I/AAAAAAAAQhY/Q6o9DqRzlzQ/s1600/Sloan's-Party-back.png" height="640" width="328" /></div>
I LOVE how they came out! Next we had to do the thank you cards for after the party. Of course they had to be coordinated! Have to remember how much fun we had with the paint even after the party right?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sfS42PlUt14/VInLgO6g-cI/AAAAAAAAQho/4g-zyuda_yo/s1600/Thank-You-Cards.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-sfS42PlUt14/VInLgO6g-cI/AAAAAAAAQho/4g-zyuda_yo/s1600/Thank-You-Cards.png" height="295" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These were simple with the front decorated, and the back being white so that she could write whatever she wanted. Then each item came with their own envelopes, so all she had to do was pack them and send them out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
She got them in the mail the other day and sent them out already. She said that she loved the quality of the classic felt, and that she was so happy with them! I love nothing more than hearing that!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<i>Now I can't help but wonder what we will do for Sloan's third birthday or Thatcher's first!!! lol</i></div>

Ever since I rebranded, I expanded my services. Not only do I do the business cards for <a href="http://www.tiffanykuehldesigns.com/p/branding.html" target="_blank">branding</a>, but I also do printed personal goods!<br />
<br />
I offer many things like holiday cards, wedding invites, save the dates, party invites for your little ones, return address labels, and birth announcements! These printed goods have been so much fun to make, and I LOVE seeing what they look like once you get them! These products come in different shapes and sizes, and are typically delivered to your door in under a week! You can look at options <a href="http://www.tiffanykuehldesigns.com/p/printed.html" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
This past week I had the pleasure of making four custom holiday card orders that were exactly what each client wanted, and I love how they came out! make sure you hover over each image to see the back side of the cards!<br />
<br />

<a href="http://www.tiffanykuehldesigns.com/p/printed.html" target="blank" title="Jennifer Iannuzzi Holiday Cards">

<center style="text-align: left;">
</center>
<center style="text-align: left;">
So what do you think? If you are interested in ordering some, you are not too late! Just keep in mind that you want a large, high quality, photo to use in the cards. You will also want to have some sort of idea of what you would like, as each order is custom designed for you!</center>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But now you don't have to fill it out in one sitting! You can start your form and save it as you go. As long as you make sure to save it, and return to it within a week, you are good! I know it is such a small feature, but it excites me! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Did you know that there are now questionnaires for every aspect of my site? There are three for blogging, one for branding, and then one for any of your personal printed items that you may need!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I love how these forms help us start out in an organized fashion! </div>

<div>
Tiffany Kuehl Designs has been completely rebranded! I have worked my butt of the last few days to get it done, but I have known for a while that I needed to do something. I just never knew exactly what I wanted to do. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Yes, you read that right. The designer had no idea of what she wanted to do. So I did what any sane woman would do and I started a secret pin board with every single idea or detail that I thought I might want to use. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
When your starting to brainstorm for a new design, color is always a great place to start. I have a <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/tiffanykdesigns/color-inspiration/" target="_blank">Pinterest board</a> specifically for helping find color pallets. Then if you want to incorporate a pattern you will start looking for pattern styles that you love. You need a seamless pattern or a web tile for anything your going to use on a website. A great place to look for this is Etsy or colurlovers.com. I actually purchased a template for my ikat argyle pattern on Etsy and colored it to my pallet. Next I found sites I liked that were similar to the look that I wanted, and listed the details I liked about this. All of these things went into my board before I ever even though about beginning. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Then I started thinking about my new logo. The funny thing is that I designed a logo over a month ago that I really liked. At least I liked it until I started trying to work with it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4vbyNEBBGlI/VGtiHyiufBI/AAAAAAAAQLk/EYgQgZ5wZ4U/s1600/old-logo.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4vbyNEBBGlI/VGtiHyiufBI/AAAAAAAAQLk/EYgQgZ5wZ4U/s1600/old-logo.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Once I started trying to work with it a little I decided that I HATED IT! Lol. I had been a little unsure for a week or so, but then when I started working with it and just wanted to give up. But I couldn't give up, I desperately needed a rebrand! So I decided to walk away and come back to it the next day. That night I was sitting down watching tv and I started thinking about it again. Only this time I was just focusing on a logo because I had an idea of something that I thought would look cool if I could find the right fonts. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Friday came and after a couple of hours, and several messages back and forth with a friend, my new logo was born!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5WKxAU6p99M/VGtigzcw9OI/AAAAAAAAQL0/t6f2zgDPfeU/s1600/LOGO.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5WKxAU6p99M/VGtigzcw9OI/AAAAAAAAQL0/t6f2zgDPfeU/s1600/LOGO.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Then when I added it to business cards I fell in love! I have never had business cards before, and I can not tell you how excited I am to be getting mine in the mail! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VX5Qcc7XmrU/VGtjGnTjsbI/AAAAAAAAQME/iX2makLZlaQ/s1600/BusinessCardFront.png" height="192" width="320" /><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-voIcaRoN808/VGtjCZhesbI/AAAAAAAAQL8/QsetD0SyQsc/s1600/BusinessCardBack.png" height="192" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Once I had my cards designed, the rest of the site kind of fell into place. It has taken so much work, and a lot of time this weekend to get everything done, but I am in love with the final product. I got the chance to learn so many new things to do this design, and I love that!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So, what do you think? </div>
</div>

But there is something very new about the way that I am doing them now!!!<br />
<br />
I am so very excited to announce that I now offer PRINTED business cards!!! You read that right! I no longer just offer digital files! Now that I have teamed up with MPixPro, I am have your business cards delivered to your doorstep within 1 WEEK of when I have them designed.<br />
<br />
So I know what your next question is... How does this work and what does it cost?<br />
<br />
Honestly, the cost isn't that much different. For a double sided business card I charge $40 for the design. But I have those files saved for future printing as well. Then I submit the designs to MPixPro and they print them within 24 to 48 hours. So far on the cards that I have sent they have been printed and shipped within 24 hours. Then they us FedEx next day shipping. So they get there super fast. They charge $20 for 100 cards and $5 for the shipping. You can get higher quantities for lower amounts with the printing as well.<br />
<br />
So if you add all of that up you are at $65 for 100 double sided custom business cards printed, and sitting on your doorstep, within a week of ordering them. I can not tell you how awesome this is to me. Then after you use your cards, if you want to reorder you just let me know and I will simply order them and have them shipped to your address for the cost of printing and shipping.<br />
<br />
Now since a post isn't any good without pictures... Would you like to see some examples of the designs that I have ordered in the last couple of weeks???<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Elaine's cards were made to match her <a href="http://elainescreations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">website</a>. I think they are super cute!<br />

<br />
I loved working with her on all of these. They were so fun to do!<br />
<br />
My most recent order was for Cyndy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img alt="Business Card Front" border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cgKuvro3QoU/VB2JfiUpRaI/AAAAAAAAOAY/XyGXouCvPco/s1600/FRONT.png" height="183" title="Cyndy Taylor" width="320" /><img alt="Business Card Back" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qO1L6bDlkdE/VB2JfqBgF6I/AAAAAAAAOAc/UnI0KLd6DFo/s1600/BACK.png" height="183" title="Cyndy Taylor" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I can not even begin to tell you just how fun all of these have been to make! I love knowing that I am actually making physical items for people rather than just a digital copy. I can not wait to make more!!! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you want any business cards ordered just <a href="mailto:tiffanykuehldesigns@gmail.com" target="_blank">email me</a> and we can get started immediately!!!</div>

I would really love to start doing them again. So why don't we just start with my most recent design added to my portfolio?!<br />
<br />
When Miranda contacted me, she wanted something simple and modern. She didn't want a lot of color. Just some black and white with pops of gold. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_TY4H73xX4k/VB2AmlWF7RI/AAAAAAAAN_I/XbQnzL33y-s/s1600/City-Gril-Southern-Style.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="City Girl Southern Style | A Custom Blog Design" border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_TY4H73xX4k/VB2AmlWF7RI/AAAAAAAAN_I/XbQnzL33y-s/s1600/City-Gril-Southern-Style.png" height="322" title="City Girl Southern Style" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.citygirlsouthernstyle.com/" target="_blank">VISIT WEBSITE HERE</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have been having a lot of requests for more simple designs with a pop lately, and I LOVE doing those! Something about this design that I love so much is the page bar. I have recently learned how to make a page bar that sticks to the top. No matter how far down you go, it's there. I have done a couple of them now, and they are amazing to me!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Another thing that I am loving about this one is the lines. There is just something about this site that is so clean and so fresh. Plus it looks amazing on my iPad! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So what is your style? Do you like to have a more simple design? Or are you all about spicing up your site?</div>
Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-516830472655769992014-07-23T16:46:00.000-05:002014-07-23T16:46:18.345-05:00Embed A Youtube Video Into Your BlogI don't know about you, but I LOVE being able to share some of my videos on my personal blog. There is a way to add videos through blogger. But let's be honest, they just don't look nearly as nice as they could. So today I thought I would post a simple tutorial on how to post a video to your blog via <a href="https://www.youtube.com/" target="_blank">YouTube</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2ot-1_0FEYw/U9Apy48mSEI/AAAAAAAANeY/SJkuP3Cl4bA/s1600/main-image.png" height="360" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
It really is a rather easy thing to do once you have an idea of what your doing.<br />
<br />
1. First and foremost you want to record your video. It doesn't matter if you do it on your phone or your camera. Just record it and upload it to your youtube account. Easy so far right? <i>If you don't have an account it is super easy and free to set up!!!</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
2. Once you have your video uploaded and saved you will see three little tabe below it. Share, Embed, and Email. You are going to want to click the embed option and it should look like this!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4VMrX28N6QE/U9ArYoPOiII/AAAAAAAANeg/ECeSHcWUDDU/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-07-23+at+4.36.48+PM.png" height="360" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are a couple changes you can always make. I always click the 640 by 360 option for the size and remove the suggested videos option. Once you have made your edits, you are going to highlight the code in the box and copy it. It should look something like this:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/TLQ6uUceWr4?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3. Now you are going to go into blogger! Open your post and click the HTML tab in the upper left corner of your posting space. Once you have done that you will paste in the code below whatever you have typed. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AsHt_DTrwYE/U9AsdP5tBDI/AAAAAAAANew/YgRxKt-DL7M/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-07-23+at+4.37.09+PM.png" height="360" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also center the code by putting <center> before it and </center> directly after it. So then it looks like this. <center><iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/TLQ6uUceWr4?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></center></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. Now you will go back to compose mode and finish up your post. Once you are all done make sure you hit the preview option and it should look something like this!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uyAFHcyQ8yk/U9AsaCazYOI/AAAAAAAANe0/V6GfAr5UVqA/s1600/Screen+Shot+2014-07-23+at+4.37.19+PM.png" height="360" width="640" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
See, I told you this was easy! There is no reason that words and pictures should be the only way you share things on your blog posts!</div>

<div>
<br>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z1A6TJftkLI/U8bYTRbg1QI/AAAAAAAANZQ/dcTRD3QLThg/s1600/add-instagram-front-imahe.png" height="360" width="640"></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br></div>
<div>
There is this really great website called <a href="http://snapwidget.com/" target="_blank">SNAPWIDGET</a> and they have the option to make a free widget. You wouldn't believe just how easy it is to do. </div>
</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-52yh2PKnS-8/U8bdT-POrfI/AAAAAAAANZw/bFRL_pye6Tc/s1600/inter-indo-get-widget.png" height="332" width="640"></div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
It's really that simple.</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
1. Enter your username</div>
<div>
2. If you want just a certain hashtag to show then just type that in. </div>
<div>
3. Choose your widget type. I like to do the slideshow widget. </div>
<div>
4. Choose your widget size. Its a good idea to know what your sidebar width is for this part. 200px is usually a good number though. </div>
<div>
5. You edit your photo border, background color, and hover effect. But I typically leave these three items alone. </div>
<div>
6. Preview your your widget and make sure it's to your liking.</div>
<div>
7. Grab your code. It should look like this:</div>
<div>
<pre class="prettyprint" id="widgetCode" style="background-color: whitesmoke; border-bottom-left-radius: 3px; border-bottom-right-radius: 3px; border-top-left-radius: 3px; border-top-right-radius: 3px; border: 1px solid rgb(136, 136, 136); color: #404040; font-family: Monaco, 'Andale Mono', 'Courier New', monospace; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; margin-bottom: 18px; padding: 2px; white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word;"><span class="com" style="color: #880000;"><!-- SnapWidget --></span><span class="pln" style="color: black;">

</div>
8. Go to your Blogger layout page and click add a gadget. Scroll down until you see HTML/JAVASCRIPT and click the little plus sign.<br>
9. Now you just paste in that code. If you want it to be centered then you just <center>YOUR CODE HERE</center>.<br>
10. Move the widget wherever you would like it placed and then hit save!<br><div><br></div><div>Now you can share your Instagram images with your readers as well! </div>Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-22796407875579522472014-05-26T14:03:00.000-05:002014-05-26T14:03:11.464-05:00We're On Etsy!!!For the last two and a half years Tiffany Kuehl Designs has always focused on creating custom blog designs for our clients. While I love doing these, I have also found myself wanting to expand this little business of mine in so many ways. One of these ways was to offer a new service on <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/tiffanykuehldesigns" target="_blank">Etsy</a>. <div>
So while I did change my <a href="http://www.tiffanykuehldesigns.com/p/blogging-packages.html" target="_blank">packages & prices</a> last week, I also opened my own shop to start selling PREMADE BLOGGER DESIGNS at a lower cost than any of my packages! You can fins Tiffany Kuehl Designs on Etsy <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/tiffanykuehldesigns" target="_blank">here</a>!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As of right now there are only two premade designs for sale. </div>

<div>
But as time goes I will create more and add them to the shop as well. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I had an idea that I thought would be fun, and this is where you come in... </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I know that the more premade templates I have, the better the shop will do! So i would love some help with deciding what kind of templates to create. My premade templates are all $40, which is cheaper them even my lowest custom made package. If anyone would be interested in having a design made, you would be able to help choose the details and it would only cost you the $40, but I would get to list it as a premade design, and you would get a free grab button for your help in the design process!!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So what do you think? Anyone interested???</div>

I swear I will get better at this, but it takes a little time. lol.<br />
A couple of weeks ago I finished a project for a client/friend that I am pretty darn proud of.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.ahappylittlelife.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xjotuB-Xc5E/UxOPwQA1QII/AAAAAAAAMQg/RCmJjA6tn1I/s1600/A-Happy-Little-Life.png" height="322" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When we started she mentioned loving a simple black and white pallet with pops of bright colors. That is exactly what we did and I could not be more in love with how it turned out. And it totally suits her personality too. I LOVE when a blog actually suits the person behind it. It's like your getting a glimpse of them when you look at it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So make sure you go over to <a href="http://www.ahappylittlelife.com/" target="_blank">her blog</a> and check her out. You will not regret it one bit! She is amazing!</div>
Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-45169099012940350762014-03-02T14:01:00.000-06:002014-03-02T14:01:02.339-06:00Marc Warren's Birthday Board<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Not too long ago I did a birthday board for a friend of mine. She posted it on <a href="http://instagram.com/p/iw-OnGBgty/" target="_blank">her instagram</a> and I had a couple of other people show interest in getting another one made. Shortly after she posted it Kat showed interest in having one made for her son's birthday pictures and his party as well. I decided to try something a little different and just have fun with this one. You know what? I happen to LOVE how it came out! I can not wait to see how it looks when she prints it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KaCTS1w5AFE/UxOLu5kvxfI/AAAAAAAAMQI/_Dsp9EfOJ4Q/s1600/Birthday-Board-1000.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KaCTS1w5AFE/UxOLu5kvxfI/AAAAAAAAMQI/_Dsp9EfOJ4Q/s1600/Birthday-Board-1000.png" height="640" width="515" /></a></div>
I have noticed after these two projects just how much I am loving working on printed items! Business cards, invitations, birthday boards, etc... It's all so fun to work on. I hope to have more projects like this in the future.Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-82197803313017234632013-12-29T08:00:00.000-06:002013-12-29T13:51:25.699-06:00Sloan's First Birthday, And I Helped!!!I have this amazing friend named Amanda! This friend has the cutest little boy ever names Sloan. Sloan happens to be turning one next month and Amanda contacted me asking me if I would be willing to help her make birthday party invitations.<br />
<br />
Honestly this was something that I haven't ever worked on before, but I am always willing to give something a try for a dear friend!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mHjoTHUH2E0/Ur9DwDCC3YI/AAAAAAAALxc/MW3mqcc7rLs/s1600/Invitation.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mHjoTHUH2E0/Ur9DwDCC3YI/AAAAAAAALxc/MW3mqcc7rLs/s640/Invitation.png" width="462" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once we finished the invitation she thought that maybe some little signs to frame around the house for the party would be fun too! So we set to work on those as well!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-MGeLI2rh28U/Ur9EMba_RsI/AAAAAAAALxk/XR3kI5AlR3I/s320/Get-Your-Grub-On.png" width="247" /><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Kp2Gmq-V5hc/Ur9EMuCmqwI/AAAAAAAALxo/kRClWp4UEfQ/s320/Handle-Bar.png" width="247" /><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qf0tuIbPs80/Ur9ENZBdRNI/AAAAAAAALx0/727NA2J1ZWE/s320/Hope-You-Had-A-Fan%7BTache%7DTic-Time.png" width="247" /><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RYN1G1HgDqg/Ur9EPXLfOqI/AAAAAAAALx4/Tip5QQ9zWik/s320/Stache-Tastic-Wishes.png" width="247" /><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dS7w-zgqGDg/Ur9EQCkfw4I/AAAAAAAALyA/bApXKGiROuE/s320/Welcome-To-The-Mustache-Bash.png" width="247" /><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-owx8P4JuRyA/Ur9EQ9DgFtI/AAAAAAAALyI/pW-gyW5LbGk/s320/Wet-Your-Whiskers.png" width="247" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After these were done we thought that a poster size birthday board would be fun!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qkXhttCoBug/Ur9GE7PyOiI/AAAAAAAALyY/FUO1a1aM3LU/s640/Birthday-Board-for-Post.png" width="515" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So far the party decorations are coming along! Now it comes to after the party! Who doesn't love coordinated Thank You cards!!! I mean really! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="286" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jeIdTs0EZB0/Ur9Giary2rI/AAAAAAAALyg/Z_JVq86E0gE/s400/Front-Only.png" width="400" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Okay, I know that I may be a little biased... But I am IN LOVE!!! I wish I could be there because knowing Amanda, and all of this that we created, this party is going to be amazing!!!</div>

<br />
I finished <a href="http://www.emloves.com/" target="_blank">Emily's</a> design a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting around to posting about it. Emily is such an amazing person. She is a fitness junkie as well as someone who loves to eat yummy food. What a balance right???<br />
<br />
When she sent me her questionnaire she had a couple of ideas, but nothing too concrete. After working together for a little while we came up with this lovely little design!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.emloves.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aQ_NYgSrfyA/Ur9B6VPUg8I/AAAAAAAALxQ/A7TnTn7pkZk/s640/EmLoves.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It turned out subtle with a POP of color. I love it! What do you think? Have you hopped on over and started <a href="http://www.emloves.com/" target="_blank">following her</a> yet??? I promise you won't regret it!!!</div>
Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-12295881893992860872013-10-23T06:28:00.000-05:002013-10-28T08:18:27.147-05:00Business Cards Anyone???Over the last week or so I have gotten 3 business card orders. Each one couldn't be more different than the one before. But I have seriously LOVED making them!!!<br />
<br />
First up we have the order that I did for Jordan at <a href="http://www.opalandviolet.com/" target="_blank">Opal & Violet</a>. She wanted Veritcal business cards that would showcase her blog for a conference that is coming up this week. She ordered these from <a href="http://moo.com/">moo.com</a> with rounded corners and had them laminated in the matte finish. I got ot see a picture of them once they arrived and they are FABULOUS!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EONXh_m-mLs/UmaFDfewblI/AAAAAAAAKQg/ke33Cupxa_w/s320/new-front.jpg" width="214" /><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AB9Nnc1RUdM/UmaE9wbcgMI/AAAAAAAAKQY/mdNuXhDAh1A/s320/new-back.jpg" width="214" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next I worked with Whitley from <a href="http://www.simplywhitsequinedlife.com/" target="_blank">Simply Whit</a>. She was actually attending the same conference and needed some fabulous business cards to represent herself and her blog as well. We went with the same printing company and made them to match her blog exactly! They are simple with little bits of glitz and glimmer. I love them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="214" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bVu822hlJjA/UmaF5jd_jpI/AAAAAAAAKQw/sdb_7dyZo6U/s320/Moo-Front.jpg" width="320" /><img border="0" height="214" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k0KDhvXOi9Q/UmaFxtUqbGI/AAAAAAAAKQs/likK4sqkcqc/s320/Moo-Back.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now my final order this week for business cards was Karen from <a href="http://www.karenlovestorun.com/" target="_blank">Karen Loves To Run.</a> We finished her design the other day and she wanted matching business cards. I jumped at the chance to do them and had fun with the design. I'm not sure where she is printing them, but I know that I can't wait to see a picture of the once they are printed!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="192" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Zite68THx4s/UmaKtmTyIEI/AAAAAAAAKRI/2RwF3P7yWts/s320/Business-Cards-Front.jpg" width="320" /><img border="0" height="192" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F1VEuSCUzHY/UmaKorc7h-I/AAAAAAAAKRA/t6bZ6M2qNxI/s320/Business-Cards-Back.jpg" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So within one week I designed three different styles of business cards and I LOVE each of them! Something to keep in mind when looking at these is that there is an eight of an inch bleed around the entire card for printing purposes. So once they are printed some of the background will go away. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you are interested in ordering some business cards please feel free to <a href="mailto:tiffanykuehldesigns@gmail.com" target="_blank">contact me</a> at any time. If you want two sided business cards the price is normally around $40 and you can take them anywhere you want for printing. If you are printing at <a href="http://moo.com/">moo.com</a> I will need to know in advance as I do use a different template when creating the image. </div>

Karen from <a href="http://www.karenlovestorun.com/">Karen Loves To Run</a> contacted me a couple of weeks ago and was wanting to rebrand herself COMPLETELY. So that's just what we did. Her <a href="http://www.karenlovestorun.com/">BLOG</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/karenlovestorun">TWITTER</a>, and FACEBOOK got all new looks. <i>( she also ordered business cards, but that will be a post all on it's own tomorrow )</i><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.karenlovestorun.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1xIOdWry9Lw/UmaCMJxfFII/AAAAAAAAKQI/BMYs5B4XRxM/s640/Karen-Loves-To-Run.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When we started the design all we knew was that Karen wanted a character and she wanted a custom shaped blog. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once again we worked with Lauren from <a href="http://heyheydesigns.com/" target="_blank">HeyHey Designs</a> on the character. She is seriously so amazingly talented and is so good at making customizations for my clients. I LOVE her! I will ALWAYS use her when a client wants a character made. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As far as the shape goes it kind of came into play once we established a character. I wanted something that still showed off the title AND the character, and this is what we came up with. I have to admit that I kind of love everything about it. We had fun with the fonts, colors, and the pattern. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now I am looking forward to following Karen as she blogs about it all! I hope you will too!</div>

<br />
Well that's how it was yesterday with Jessica at <a href="http://thecavegirlchronicles.blogspot.com/">The Cave Girl Chronicles</a>. To be honest she was two blogs down the list and I was working ahead and sending a few things between emails from my other clients. But she was responding so quickly that working ahead became actually working.<br />
<br />
We started her design yesterday afternoon and by the time this morning rolled around we were all done! We were just such a great team!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://thecavegirlchronicles.blogspot.com/"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cw3xd0rj4no/Ul1OE8nHm_I/AAAAAAAAJt0/piak7A7Wcq8/s640/The-Cave-Girl-Chronicles.png" width="640" /></a></div>
Everything from the site is so fun to me. The pattern is so subtle but pops out at you at the same time, the colors are just amazing and suit her personality. Then there is that kettleball with the skull and the bow. It plays off of the theme of the blog so well. I just LOVE it!<br />
<br />
Jessica was so fun to work with and I hope you will all take a look and say hello! I know I am looking forward to learning a few things from the Cave Girl.Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-62533310626255437982013-10-13T09:09:00.001-05:002013-10-13T09:09:40.459-05:00A Slacker | UpdatesOkay, So I have been a total slacker at updating the blog portion of my site. I am so sorry for this! But I promise I haven't been slacking all around. If you look at my portfolio you will see that I have still been working. I promise!<br />
<br />
So this week I completed two amazing projects! Amanda from <a href="http://www.letsgetbananas.com/">Let's Get Bananas</a> had a blogiversary this week, and we got her design done just in time!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.letsgetbananas.com/"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B5eyowReq-Y/UlqojIaUDPI/AAAAAAAAJqY/nUYF1JHiBKM/s640/lets-get-bananas.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then yesterday I also finished working with Jordan from Opal and Violet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.opalandviolet.com/"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mO9gLGXtL1c/UlqpBER0oGI/AAAAAAAAJqg/8D4MZE7z4lw/s640/opal-&-violet.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am on the verge of some new projects now and can't wait to keep you updated! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-80591387226133837772013-08-21T14:30:00.001-05:002013-08-21T14:30:37.520-05:00The Sweetest ReviewThis morning I did the transfer for Stephanie over at <a href="http://www.girlmeetstrail.com/">Girl Meets Trail</a>. After the transfer was complete she asked me if she could submit a review. A few moments later I recieved her review and it was the sweetest thing ever!!!<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"I am a newbie blogger and wanted to make my blog look more professional and appealing. I reviewed several blog designers and was at first hesitant to spend close to $100 on something I wasn't too familiar with and over the internet. Let me tell y'all, from the first time Tiffany e-mailed me all of my worries went away. She is punctual, professional, will change things for you to your exact liking and gives you plenty of blog design options to choose from. I could not be ANY happier with the way my blog turned out! This experience was great, my blog looks amazing and I would recommend working with Tiffany to anyone out there wanting to design an awesome blog!"</blockquote>
I have to admit that when I complete each and every design the most rewarding part of it all is when they see the new design live on their blog and they are happy and they say those two magical words...THANK YOU. Those two words make it all so much fun! I love knowing that they feel their spot on the web suits them when we are done!Tiffanyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12755483585221959538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4328460454696675097.post-80779567139507718292013-08-05T21:40:00.001-05:002013-08-05T21:40:09.595-05:00An UpdateHello Everyone!! So as you can see I am currently booking for SEPTEMBER! This is so exciting guys! While I haven't been very good at posting to my portfolio, I have definitely been very busy! So make sure you head over to my <a href="http://www.tiffanykuehldesigns.com/p/portfolio.html" target="_blank">portfolio </a>and take a look for new designs!<br />
<br />
When you look, some of you may notice that I have a new category on there! I have officially started working with WORDPRESS!!! I had a client a few weeks ago who really wanted me to do her Wordpress design so I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Worst case scenario I just couldn't;t do it right??? Well look at how well <a href="http://southerngraceblog.com/" target="_blank">Christina's </a>design turned out!!!<br />
<br />
As of yesterday I finished working with my second ever Wordpress design. But this one was a <a href="http://www.prophoto.com/" target="_blank">ProPhoto</a> Wordpress design. I seriously LOVE how Beverly's design looks now!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://photobybeverly.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="322" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-k7M9p4xLUuE/UgBfTkM0LmI/AAAAAAAAJDY/S6VVMxk749Q/s640/BEVERLY-WP.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://photobybeverly.com/">SEE DESIGN LIVE</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As with any new project, it was definitely a learning experience, but I can not believe how professional this design looks in comparison to the other two that we have done for her! A lot of it really has to do with the fact that Wordpress is just such a great platform and for a Photographer ProPhoto just can't be beat!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So for those of you who have come to me for Wordpress designs in the past, I am so sorry I ever said no! To anyone who wants one now as long as your okay with the fact that I am still learning on this platform and you have a self hosted site I would love to work with you!!!</div>

I have to admit that I am completely in love with how cute it turned out!!!<br />

It's so bright and still elegant. From what I can tell that suits Heather's personality perfectly! I can not wait to do more for this project and watch her business grow. Keep an eye out people, it's going to be HUGE! I just know it!</div>

She had a true vision from the get go and it was so much fun bringing that vision to life and adding my own little ideas and my own touches to what she had in mind.<br />

She does something called <a href="http://www.thekavanaughreport.com/p/tot-school.html">Tot School</a>, so she wanted to use chalkboard in her design and we found a playful way of doing so. There are little chalkboard elements scattered all throughout her blog, and the colors that she picked are just amazing! I love the design that we worked together to come up with and I am so excited to follow her blog now that I know her better!</div>
